If you are in need of something to carry around your school books than leather backpacks cannot be beat. While its true that some of the nylon ones are just as study and durable they cannot match the style of a leather backpack. It also doesn’t need to be a backpack these days messenger bags are also very popular. I missed my opportunity for the perfect Christmas present for my nephew since I didn’t think about this until the day after Christmas, but his birthday is coming up. Right now he just has one of the Jansport type bags but will be going away to college next fall and in my opinion he needs something that looks a bit more mature.
Countering the Holiday Weight Gain
I guess we are knee-deep into the part of the year that gives us a reason to make New Years resolutions. Between Thanksgiving and New Years, Americans eat more food than during any other time. Obviously, this over-consumption leads to weight gain which in turn leads to guilt. Eventually, the new year comes and with a new beginning. This is usually the time that we all try to diet, use weight loss pills and diet. For some of us there will be a huge payoff resulting in a healthier life, for others it will be nothing more than a passing phase. However, the important thing to remember will be to keep on trying, never get discouraged and realize that through discipline all things are possible.
