Mimicking the Trade Winds
I am in the process of getting my front porch redone. What I want is something that is homey. Not necessarily anything that is fancy but something that I can enjoy. On my front porch I am thinking of getting hunter outdoor ceiling fans just to be certain that there is always a breeze blowing through. It’s something I picked up when I was down in Aruba with the trade winds and it really makes a difference. You see, down there its always like 85 degrees but with the breeze blowing through it always feels so much better.
Waste Not Want Not
Looks like I ruined a fairly new shirt today. I was at work and decided to be a good samaritan and help someone out and in the process I got bearing grease all over my shirt. I doubt I will ever be able to get the stain out of the shirt so its probably best to not even try. So, what I normally do when something like this happens is I will use the ruined clothing as something to wear when doing yard work. I’m not big on wasting anything so I won’t be throwing it away. I’ll find some way to get a year’s worth of use out of it.
