I like to travel a lot when I get a chance. One of the things I like to do when I travel is a bit of geocaching. If you don’t know what geocaching is, it is probably best described as a treasure hunt or a global game of hide and seek. You use a gps to find containers of items others have hidden. All you really need is a sense of adventure and a gps to take part. Although with the use of a digital gps camera sharing your adventures with your family or online has never been easier.

It seems like so many people are making the switch to tablets these days. Personally, I don’t see the allure of those over-grown cell phones. For my money netbook computers are still a better bet. If I only want to access the internet I’ll just use my phone, but if I want actual power than a tablet isn’t going to cut it. With a netbook I can actually use programs that are helpful; Microsoft Office, Photoshop and I can actually play games as well. To me its not even a contest when trying to decide between a netbook and a tablet.

My girlfriend is in the need of a new phone so I told her to search online to see what she liked. After she makes a list I am going to sift through it to help her make the best choice. One of the phones I know she is in love with is the htc desire. So, I am going to do a little bit of research on the reliability of this model. I’m a big fan of HTC phones so I am sure this model will be no different but I’ll still have to do my research.

Last year my girlfriend brought her sister a computer for a graduation present. It was a pretty nice model but not the one I would have recommended had I been asked for input. Now the laptop is acting up. She asked if I would take a look at it but truthfully I think the most prudent move would be to refer it back to the company. I mean that is why you have a laptop warranty, its better to get the problem solved permanently than for me to slap a bandaid on a problem that may pop up again sometime in the future.
