Falling In Love All Over Again

I completely fell in love recently. I was visiting an old friend and saw his ibanez guitar and immediately knew that I needed to have one too. I haven’t ordered one yet but right now I’m trying to narrow down which one I want to get. I don’t have nearly as much time to play as I did in the past but that’s all part of being an adult. I still manage to get some time in during one of my weekend days and like I said when I go to concerts, but its nothing like jamming with an old friend. I’m planning on picking one up soon to add to my modest collection.

They Need to Plan Better

Its a hot one today. I’m not sure what the actual temperature is but right now I’m sitting inside this metal building until the air conditioning kicks in it might as well be 100 degrees. I guess they didn’t expect it to warm up as fast as it did because the facilities crew didn’t decide to turn on the AC until we came this morning. So, it will probably take the entirety of the day for it to really get the temperature under control. Well, I guess the good news is that tomorrow it will be nice and comfortable by the time I come into work. However, in the future it would be nice for the facility manager to actually look at the weather report.

The Perfect Baby Shower Gift

I think my girlfriend goes to more baby showers than anyone I have ever met. For this next one she picked up something called an uppa baby stroller. It was a bit on the expensive side but it is for her best friend of the last 20 years so money concerns go out the window in those situations. Besides from what I understand its as top of the line as it gets. From the reviews I have read its one of those strollers that you’ll be able to keep for multiple children and even pass down to other friends.

Transforming My Back Yard

The weather is turning so it looks like its time to get started on my outdoor projects. I have been looking into wood gazebos for my back yard. I’m not looking for anything big or elaborate just a nice place to relax with a glass of wine. Actually, I can’t take the credit for the idea as my girlfriend pretty much gave me the directive (lol) but I can say I like the idea. I am also encouraged to find out that the costs associated with this project are pretty low. I definitely think a wood gazebo will go a long way towards transforming my back yard into something more useful.
