I just lost mine the other day which is fine with me since it was pretty old anyways but it does create an inconvenience. I am not sure which phone I should get and I am no longer under contract so I am not married to a certain carrier. Right now I am thinking it will be a good time to buy iphone since they just rolled it out onto Verizon.  I don’t currently have Verizon but I’m digging the idea of an iphone with everything unlimited instead of that 2GB non-sense AT&T pushes on their customers.

Its not nearly as bad as I thought. Normally I don’t make any calls but I did need to make one phone call from the cruise ship. I decided to take my chances using my cell and the ships cell tower instead of the actual cabin phone.The rates on the cruise ship are roughly 8 dollars a minute if I use the cabin phone.  I wasn’t sure what my cell rate would be but I was sure it was much cheaper.  It turns out that I paid about 10 dollars for a 5 minute call, so it looks like I made the correct choice.
