In an effort to boost awareness of this website and others I have been looking into a couple of different ways to get additional exposure. One of the methods I was looking into was free directory submissions. Assuming I can find a suitable category to submit this blog to I think it could be a great help. So, the next time I get some free time I will definitely be doing further research on this subject.

I am a self-proclaimed iPhone addict, yet I still carry my iPod. I don’t really have a reason for it except that I have been doing it for years. I guess I am programmed to take it wherever I go, good job Steve Jobs. I first got turned onto MP3 players almost 10 years ago and since then I have always had one in one for or another. It started with one that held like 20 songs (I forget what it was called), and now they hold thousands upon thousands of songs and can also play movies. Sure my iPhone can also do all those things but it just wouldn’t be the same.

Being that I am an avid cruiser and also someone who hates being completely out of touch with my real life I was thinking of gadgets I could get to help bridge the gap. Thats when it hit me that I could buy a waterproof cell phone case. I know they make waterproof ipod cases that close tighter than ball lock pins but I’m not sure about iPhone cases. While I am not planning on going snorkeling with my phone it would be nice to be able to take it out on a speed boat excursion without worrying about it getting ruined (I once ruined about two thousand dollars worth of camera equipment, on a speedboat). I guess I should add that to my list of things to buy before my next cruise. Now if I could only get reliable service in Dominica.

Being in my thirties and with relatively good hygiene I was shocked to find a few pimples on my cheek. After a little thought I realized the reason was my cell phone. So while I have to run out to the store to grab something to take care of this problem, always remember the most effective acne treatments always center on prevention. Be sure to sanitize any items that may come in contact with your face including your mobile phone. This is one of the most overlooked areas of personal hygiene, but a handy wipe a couple times of day can spare you a lot of embarassment the next time you have to meet an important client.

Another of the many uses of an iPhone is keeping you from losing your way. About a month ago I was in Las Vegas for a convention and needed to meet some friends for dinner. My location was the Luxor but I needed to get to the Bellagio for the wonderful buffet they have. Not being familiar with Vegas I was able to pull up a las vegas strip map and shortly thereafter I was munching on Snow Crab legs. This truly is the swiss army knife of mobile phones.
