Spb Online Smartphone is an application which combines Mobile TV, radio, news, weather and online games into one handy application. For years SPB has been one of the major players in smartphone applications. With this newest entry they have succeeded in coming up with a suite of products that covers all the bases. Previously applications of this quality were available only to providers but now they are offering it to end users. Here is a list of features included and with the limited time I had to play around with it SPB has really impressed.

If you are the type of person who constantly worries about possible iPhone security holes I have the ultimate solution for you. In the new 2.1 firmware update there is a new feature that all but ensures that your information is only viewed by people you want to see that information. There is now an option that allows you to completely wipe all of the data on your iPhone after 10 failed attempts at inputting your password.

To enable this nifty new function go to Settings, General, Passcode. You will see anew option at the bottom of the screen that says “Erase Data”. If you toggle the erase data setting to on your iPhone will completely wipe all of the data after 10 failed passcode attempts. Personally this is a bit too Mission Impossible for my liking but some people may have use for such extreme measures. Just be careful that you aren’t the type of person who routinely leaves their phone lying around or you risk having your data wiped by a noisy little brother.

eWallet allows you to to customize the information in order to organize your ewallet however you choose. You are free to create multiple wallets, uses nested categories, as well as set hidden fields and personalized backgrounds. You can also create shortcuts so you can access your most used information quickly. Eventful is an application for the Apple iPhone that allows you to find things to do in your area via the iPhone. Using it you can find out whats going on at your favorite venues as well as coordinating activities between you and your friends.

The interface used by Eventful is very well-designed and pretty straightforward you should never get confused. Eventful has menu bars at the top and bottom of the screen. The top bar allows you to view events by three different categories (events, performers, venues, users). The bottom bar has 5 buttons labeled profile, track, featured, search and demand. These features do everything from seeing noteworthy events (featured) to setting up a profile or even requesting certain performers to come to your town. You can even buy tickets for events. Never again will you be stuck at home with nothing to do.
