Sprint closes PCS email
Up until now every Sprint PCS customer had an email address registered to their cell phone. Today Sprint has announced the cancellation of this service. Sprint is now suggesting that subscribers setup an email account with one of the free online providers (gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc.). Additionally Sprint is offering subscribers a tool to help the migration of the email accounts. This tool will allow users to transfer their address book and any saved emails to the new service. Subscribers who want to continue using email on their Sprint cell phone can download the Sprint Mobile Email application via the Sprint portal.
