An Ugly Side to House Flipping
As many of you know I am a huge fan of those house flip shows. The reason is probably because I wouldn’t mind getting into that business myself, someday. However, I was just watching something I just couldn’t believe. Amateur flippers were “gutting” a house and discovered asbestos, instead of opting to deal with the problem they decided to attempt to cover it up. Of course since it was a television show the “advisor” made them get proper asbestos removal. This just makes me wonder what would have happened if the cameras were not there. I wonder how many people out there have developed Mesothelioma not accidentally but because someone decided to cut a corner and turn a quick buck, pretty scary stuff.
