Cleaning Out My Aquarium
I had the day off, so I decided today would be a good time for some routine maintenance on my saltwater aquarium. Lately its been looking a little ragged. I do the routine maintenance on it although I will admit I’m a little lax when it comes to the water changes. Normally this wouldn’t be so bad but I have to use tap water when I do the changes. The minerals which exist in tap water feed the algae which causes it to grow pretty fast. I’m hoping that once I get some extra money I can get one of those reverse osmosis water filters which will take all of those minerals out of the water. However, until I can afford one of those units I’ll have to stop slacking on the weekly water changes.
