I Awoke in Chicago
I woke up entirely too early today. The wind was howling all night, its like I was transported to Chicago sometime during the course of the night. The thing that actually woke me was a loud clank. I had no idea what it was but when I checked I wasn’t expecting to see the neighbors patio furniture strewn all over my driveway this morning. Luckily it never made it down to my car, disaster avoided. However, carrying someone elses furniture at 6 a.m. is not the ideal way to spend a saturday morning. He hasn’t been home for about a week so I am guessing he and his girlfriend went on vacation. In other words, without a way to secure this furniture, the only way to prevent it happening again is to cross my fingers.
