Malpractice Insurance Costs
When watching televison you always hear about how much doctors pay for malpractice insurance. Although they never state what this sum may be they always make a point of pointing out that its high. I wonder what kind of rates Medical Malpractice Insurance Companies charge. I have to imagine due to the nature of why someone would need this type of coverage the costs must be astronomical. The reason I even bring this up is because I have been spending alot of time watching those investigative journalism television shows. The last one I saw was about a doctor in the mid-west who was less than ethical. The case ended up with him running away to a foreign country and his insurance company needing to pay out millions. Sometimes when I see something on television I fixate on it a bit.
