I’m So Glad You Called
Last night at around 1a.m. I got a phone call. I was still awake so I wasn’t upset about getting a call so late. In fact, I was actually happy to receive the call. It was my girlfriends sister. She was out for the night and got a bit carried away with the partying so she needed a ride. That is why I was happy, the decision to call showed great responsibility.
So, we went out to pick her up. It wasn’t a long drive maybe like 15 minutes but the roads are kind of winding. In fact it remids me of the Fahrvergnügen commercials Volkswagen used to run. The kind of road that just begs for a deer to dart out in front of my halo headlights, so its not the kind of place you would want to drive if you aren’t 100% clear headed. In fact even its not the type of road you want to drive at night period. That being said anytime the same situation arises I would not hesitate to be the designated driver.
