A Trip Down Memory Lane
Just recently took my girlfriend back home to Pittsburgh so she could do some sight seeing. She had never been there so it was a great opportunity to show her some of the places I talk about. I should here the place in Point Park where I used to study. Told her the story about how my mother said if I ever got seperated from her she’d find me at the USX steel building, the tallest building in the city. I was able to show her the old Kaufman’s which is now Macy’s (which is getting sold) and explain to her how I used to love the different scenes they have in the windows at Christmas time. It was a different kind of trip, one that I am glad I was able to take with her. I think it brought us closer together.
You Learn a Lot By Listening
Bored at work I was eavesdropping on someone’s conversation (you learn so much that way). They were talking about how often a pregnant woman has to go to the bathroom. Now, I am not sure why but I was completed fascinated. They then moved on to exercises and breast-feeding, truly riviting stuff. They also talked about a place called prenatalvitamins.org and how important prenatal vitamins are to a baby’s healthy development. All told I learned more in that 20 minutes than I learned over the past 35 years of my life about pregnancy.
