Google Android Finally Lands
Finally, the first Google Android phone is here. Brought to you by T-Mobile the G1 is now available for about $180 with a two-year voice and data agreement. The G1 has a brightly colored; touch sensitive screen as well as a slide out QWERTY keyboard and a navigation track ball. The G1 also hosts a bevy of Google-centric applications such as google search, google maps and access to the “Android Market”. The Android Market “hosts unique applications and mash ups of existing and new services from developers around the world.” There is also a new application by Amazon.com that affords customers “easy access to Amazon MP3, Amazon.com’s digital music download store with more than 6 million DRM-free MP3 tracks.”
If you are one of the millions of smart phone users that undoubtedly believe that Google is the end all be all of internet based information, you may want to look at this Google Android phone.
