Never Use Ship to Shore Calling
I just checked my cell phone bill from when I was on vacation. Its not nearly as bad as I thought. Normally I don’t make any calls but I did need to make one phone call from the cruise ship. I decided to take my chances using my cell and the ships cell tower instead of the actual cabin phone.The rates on the cruise ship are roughly 8 dollars a minute if I use the cabin phone. I wasn’t sure what my cell rate would be but I was sure it was much cheaper. It turns out that I paid about 10 dollars for a 5 minute call, so it looks like I made the correct choice.
