LG Dare: I Dare You.
A friend of mine just got a new cellphone, the LG Dare. While I am a bit of an iPhone guy there is no denying the fact that there are plenty of other hi quality phones out there. I asked him if I could play with his phone for a day or so to see how I liked it and of course he laughed at me (it was worth a shot). So instead I had to settle for messing around with it for about 5 minutes and asking him some questions. What I gathered from the limited time I had with this phone is that its Verizon’s answer to the iPhone and Sprint Instinct. As far as looks go its eye-catching and has some cool features but does lack in some other areas. The body is compact, (smaller than the iPhone) looks nice and is loaded with features. The LG Dare has a great media player as well as a wonderful camera. I wouldn’t classify the LG Dare as a true smartphone since the Dare doesn’t support POP3 email and is also lacking in the desktop syncing department. However, the LG Dare will really appeal to those not in need of typical smartphone features but want something more than a standard cellphone.
